Typing Practice Guide
1. Choose a Practice Mode
Select Sentence Practice, Word Game, or Defense Game. Sentence Practice measures speed and accuracy as you complete sentences. The games ask you to type words or enemy names according to the selected difficulty.
2. Choose Language and Category
Select Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, or Mixed, then choose a category. Available categories vary by language and may include general sentences, conversation, travel, business, literature, the Korean Bible, and programming.
3. Review Your Results
During practice you can see elapsed time, typing speed, accuracy, and completed sentence count. The result screen summarizes your performance when the session ends.
4. Online Ranking
Online ranking is optional. Saving a nickname does not automatically publish a result. A result is submitted only when you press the ranking-record button after a practice session.
5. Custom Text and Mobile Keyboards
Custom text is processed in the browser. On mobile devices, use the keyboard provided by your operating system for Korean, English, Japanese, or Chinese. The website cannot force your system keyboard to change language.
6. Add to Home Screen
Use the favorites/home-screen button at the top of the site or your browser's “Add to Home Screen” or “Install App” option. The exact menu wording depends on the browser.
7. One-Minute Test, Daily Challenge, Beginner Course, and Badges
The challenge area includes a 60-second typing test, a date-based daily challenge, an eight-step beginner course, and local streak/achievement badges. The one-minute test automatically advances through short sentence pages so the target stays visible while typing on mobile. One-minute and daily-challenge results can be submitted to their own ranking categories after a nickname is saved. Result cards can also be saved or shared on supported devices.
8. Practice Analysis and CSV Export
After a practice session, you can review a Consistency score from 0 to 100%. It reflects how steadily your typing speed was maintained during the session.
Words that contained typing errors can be practiced again with “Practice missed words”. Weak-sentence review remains available as well.
From “View detailed records” on the home screen, you can download your saved practice history as a CSV file including date, source, speed, accuracy, and consistency.
9. Timed Practice, Error Detail, and Tape Mode
In Typing / Caret Settings, Timed Practice offers Unlimited, 30 seconds, 1 minute, and 3 minutes. The timer starts with the first keystroke, and a partially typed current sentence is included in the final speed and accuracy calculation.
Typed Error Detail shows the character you actually entered below the correct target character. The detail remains visible for that sentence even after you correct the error.
Tape Mode can move by letter or by word, and the active typing position can be anchored at 30%, 50%, or 70% of the typing area.
10. Display size, keyboard and challenges
Typing Display Settings includes text size and width, keyboard visibility after the first input, and Korean/English key labels. Enable the on-screen keyboard separately. Peak speed (Burst) is the fastest sampled speed over a rolling 3-second window; sessions shorter than 3 seconds show a dash. It uses the same units as session speed and is exported to CSV.
Minimum challenges apply from the next session. Accuracy checks start after 5 seconds and 10 characters; speed checks start after 10 seconds. Falling below the threshold or skipping a sentence ends the challenge. Passing requires at least 10 seconds, 10 characters, and meeting every enabled threshold. Failed or incomplete challenges do not update the best score or submit a ranking. Reviews are excluded.
